The ATS Acoustic Standoffs (AC) provide a means of scanning superficial structures within the near field and regions where acoustic coupling with conventional acoustics coupling gels alone may be difficult to maintain.
The standoffs are composed of flexible low attenuative sonolucent gel, covered with a pliable film. |
The AC’s are non-disposable, will not leak if punctured and can be sterilized between examinations.
The manufacturing technique utilized to produce the AC’s ensures that the gel adheres to the pliable film, thereby preventing the formation of air bubbles.
The AC’s are available in a choice of thickness ranging from 1.0 to 4.0 cm. |
