The ATS Model 539X Depth Extender when used in conjunction with our Model 539 Multipurpose phantom provides an additional 14 cm of depth, necessary when evaluating the next generation of imaging systems capable of penetrating depths between 1-30 cm. The Model 539X offers our customers the ability to upgrade their existing Model 539 rather than acquiring a new QA phantom.
The Model 539X is constructed of our rubber-based tissue mimicking material with an attenuation coefficient of 0.5dB/cm/MHz. As found in our Model 539, the Extender contains a combination of monofilament line targets and cystic-like target structures of varying sizes positioned in-line vertically, permitting an entire target group to be displayed in one view.
The Extender is easy to use, simply apply an acoustic coupling gel to the top scan surface and then place your Model 539 right on top. Lifetime warranty. |
